Zeitgeist: “Largest Grassroots Movement”

Zeitgeist-refutedAccording to a recent report: “Recognized as the largest grassroots social movement in the world with chapters in over 60 Countries,” (source) the Zeitgeist movement is gaining momentum. Zeitgeist: The Movie was a 2007 documentary-style film by Peter Joseph. It presents a number of conspiracy theory-based ideas, such as the Christ myth theory, conspiracy theories about the 9/11 attacks in 2001, and postulates that bankers manipulate the media and international monetary system. The film has been translated in multiple languages and the Zeitgeist movement has international chapters in over 50 nations.

Below is our film Zeitgeist Refuted Final Cut in which we debunk the claims made by Zeitgeist concerning Christianity. Also below is Zeitgeist, History Rewritten by Chris White in which he talks about the history of the theories presented in Zeitgeist part one and debunks a lot of the new material that has come out after the film’s release.

Did the Early Church Muzzle the Canon?

Here is a deleted scene from our upcoming film Jesus of Testimony with Dan Wallace answering that question. Dr. Wallace is professor of New Testament Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary (has taught there for more than 25 years) and Executive Director of the Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts. He has written, co-authored, edited, or contributed to more than two dozen books. As an internationally known Greek New Testament scholar, Wallace has been a consultant for four Bible translations—ESV, TNIV, New King James Bible, and New English Translation. He has also contributed articles to the ESV Study Bible and the Holman Christian Standard Study Bible. He has written, co-authored, edited, or contributed to more than two dozen books including Revisiting the Corruption of the New Testament and Reinventing Jesus.
