Our Father’s Memorial Service Message

Below is a video of the latter half of my father’s memorial service on February 14, 2014. My dad passed away early on February 10, 2014, with family and a special friend nearby, completing a seven month journey of life with esophageal cancer. My brother Ethan and I carried a burden for our father to come to know the Lord and we have much hope that the Lord completed that work in him. We love and will miss our dad greatly. He requested that I share some words at his service. Many who were not able to come had requested to hear, so I have posted the message below:

Listen here. “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
