Forms of Godliness vs. Conformity to Christ: The Bible commands many outward forms of godliness for Christians to obey, but an unspiritual and carnal person may manifest many forms of godliness without inward Christ-likeness. In the last days, Paul told Timothy that men would have “a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof” (2 Timothy 3:5).
